Active Server Pages and SQL Server provide a powerful combination for medium to the largest businesses. Steve Wilmes Consulting has skills in Web Production with Active Server Pages, SQL Server, Crystal Decisions, HTML, and Javascript.

Internet
We use ASP and SQL Server to build Corporate Internet sites that change based on easy to use forms from an "administration" website. This allows non technical users to easily update content. Other uses for Dynamic pages are Event Calendars, Human Resource Employment applications, Message Boards, Location Proximity Searches (such as the nearest vendor of your products to a zip code) and of course e-commerce.
Intranet
Often Intranet sites have many more pages then Internet site since they are used as a utility to all the employees of a company. A typical Intranet site has 10 times as many pages as an Internet site. This complexity makes dynamic pages necessary. Employee Directory Search, Organization Chart, Human Resource Benefit Enrollment, Reporting, Company Calendar and Events, Document Control, Product Knowledge Base, Interdepartment Forms, Corporate Portal, and web based CRM and ERP applications are all examples of how Dynamic web pages using SQL Server and ASP can be used to fulfill the internal needs of a business.

Extranet
Extranets provide a unique opportunity for companies to deal with suppliers, partners, or anyone else you wish to share your data with. SQL Server Replication and XML technologies make it perfect for extranet solutions in that the provide a way to distribute and a consistent way to share data with your suppliers.
Analysis Services
Using Microsoft Data Transformation Services to move data from various legacy systems into a data warehouse, Microsoft's Analysis Services are great at making data cubes that serve your organization's decision makers with summarized information.
